“ Staying locally we opted for a visit to the local chip shop - the Atlantic Bay. The place was very busy, and you can order via self-serve kiosk thing. We picked what we wanted and the kiosk was fairly easy to use (we couldn't find the curry sauce until we realised you could swipe up to move screen!) We also then had to go to counter anyway as the receipt didn't appear to give our order number! We had a few minutes wait, but this wasn't surprising considering how busy it was. It's a small area with a covered area outside and some benches on other side of the road. There is also a big green on other side of the road so if it's a nice day you could just sit and eat there! We had a large cod, chips and peas meal deal, a kids fish cake meal and a small cod and chips. All the food was cooked well, the fish wasn't overly battered, the chips had a good mix of having the little crunchy bits at bottom that I like - and all of it was well covered in salt and vinegar! We would certainly visit again if the desire for fish and chips is high! ”

“ Party of 8 people, 6 adults, 2 children. Queue was big, but that's because the food is awesome, and freshly cooked. Staff are friendly, polite, professional. Food ..... just delicious . 4 of us had the 'fish and chips' for 7.99 each. Brilliant value for money. Others had sausage in batter. It was all hot, fresh and tasty. We sat outside on bench, in the sun, with great views. I cannot compliment the staff and food enough. Will be going again, when in Devon. ”
